Our community got started when me and my son decided to get into the web site building business. We thought it would be cool to put up a small website just letting players know who we are. The website was one page and very simple in the beginning. The name "Honor Among Warriors" came about from the combination of interest in the Kights of the Roundtable, The Samurai and respect for all men and woman who have served in or are now serving in our armed services. There are a few different definitions of honor I found, but these stick out more than the others....." Respect....The quailty of being honorable and having a good name". Also,...Honor is deemed exactly what determines a persons character; whether or not the person reflects honesty, respect, integrity and fairness! These are quailites that were important to everyone a long time ago, but over time have seemed to be forgotten. I would like to believe that the members of this community have not forgotten what the word "honor" means and are not ashamed to wear that name with pride. That old saying.." A man is only as good as his word " should still stand for something. After getting the idea together I asked our friend VSShooter if he wanted to be apart of it and he said yes. We did not recruit for several months. It wasn't until within the last month that we started thinking of the idea to expand and recruit other players that we felt would embrace the name and what it stands for. So around April 14th 2010, we started asking our friends that we had been playing with for awhile to join us. The rest is history! *Requirements for being a member of =HAW=!* First, please remember, have fun! Second, please watch your language when young people are present. Remember, we are family oriented and frown on bad language on the servers we play on and in Ventrillo. Please do not discrimate againest any other race or nationality. I realize there are hackers out there, but please keep your complaining and whining to a mininum. We will not tolerate hackers in our community. If you do it, you will be asked to give up your tags and leave. My ( pops ) personal feeling is...if a player has to hack to beat me, it's a compliment because that means he is not good enough to do it without cheating! Above all, have fun and enjoy the game! Popsmurf has been playing 2142 for about 2 years now.
Pop, as most players call him, started playing 2142
after his son (wolfwhisper737) introduced him to it.
Pop is currently ranked 367 in the world as commander with over 420 hrs at the wheel.
Pop normally plays Sniper and is ranked under 1,147 in the world and has over 3,841 kills, 945 Deaths and a K/D ratio of +4.06% .

Wolf as most players call him is Popsmurf's son. He has been playing 2142 for over 2 years now as well.
He loves to knife fight so watch out!

Shooter has been playing 2142 for over 2 years since he retired. Shooter has been a long time friend and player with Pop and Wolf for over 2 years through 2142 and is widely respected in the gaming community for his Southern hospitality and his great teamwork on the field. Don't forget to strike up a conversation about good old country ham and eggs with Molassas, yummy!

Shotgun, as his friends call him was a real life sniper while in the Marine Corps. His favorite weapon is the Shotgun and is a great squad leader who gives out game winning orders.
